These are female Io Moths pumping up their wings after emerging from their chrysalis, hanging out on some octopus tentacles. This painting represents the time, care and hard work it takes to change. Growing new neural pathways to adapt and not be locked in trauma responses from the past. I've struggled to truly be vulnerable, and expressing my experiences through paintings is so freeing.
